How Zebulon Pike and Charles Fremont Survived Colorado

Zebulon Pike and John Charles Fremont, in different eras, both explored Southwest Colorado. Their expeditions suffered hardships and dangers that are hard for us to comprehend. Pike’s expedition ended successfully: Fremont’ was a disaster. Both expeditions teach us lessons about leadership, survival and the importance of correct decisions.
